Watermelon Frosé
Summer is upon us! The sun is shining, the flowers have bloomed, and it’s time for some ROSÉ!! Well, let me be honest, in my life, it’s always time for rosé. It’s light and dry with just a hint of sweetness…and it’s pink! What’s not to love?!
I wanted to take my love for rosé and bump it up a notch. Immediately I remembered the watermelon I had blended the day before, to make juice (just blending watermelon by itself makes the best watermelon juice drink, btw). It’s sweet, light, and just about the most refreshing thing you can have on a hot day…and it’s pink! I thought, wait, watermelon FROSÉ just might be what I’ve been wanting my whole life. So I blended some up, and guess what, it is! It’s icy, refreshing, slightly sweet and just about the most perfect summer happy hour (or brunch) treat.
This is hardly a recipe as it’s just two ingredients blended with ice, but it’s too good and way too easy not to share. And best part, it’s a delicious cocktail that doesn’t require any extra added sugars or sweetener. And I feel so good about it, because basically I’m just hydrating, ya know? As always, I want to see your creations! Tag me on insta @katiewebbernyc!
Watermelon Frosé
1 cup rosé wine
1 cup seedless watermelon*
1 cup ice
Blend everything together and serve immediately. Makes two Frosés. If you’re wanting to add a boozy punch to your drink, try adding a shot of vodka or white rum to the blender! Enjoy!

*Watermelon can be subbed with strawberries, just know there will be some seeds.
