Apple Pie Smoothie Bowl
Mmmmm Thanksgiving breakfast! What will it be this year?! Gooey cinnamon rolls? Sugary sticky buns?? Whatever it is, it will be an indulgent start to an overall indulgent day.
I know! How bout APPLE PIE! Who says indulgences have to be bad?! This Apple Pie Smoothie Bowl is so good, it's....great! And great for you! Every ingredient in this smoothie bowl is either a fruit, a nut, or a spice. That's it! And when I say that it tastes like something you'd normally eat in hiding, I'm not kidding. It's a sweet, thick & creamy, ice cold delight that is 100% vegan, gluten free, and Whole 30 approved. So whip it up and serve it to the people you love, including yourself ;)
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 peeled & cored apple
- 1 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 medjool date
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
- Pinch Himalayan salt
- 1/3 Cup almond milk (add more or less for a thinner/thicker consistency)
Blend & enjoy!
I topped mine with Purely Elizabeth gluten free granola and sliced apple.
